DoorScribe ("DoorScribe," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI-powered writing tools for real estate agents, available at doorscribe.com and through our web application (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, brokerage, market/city, license number, and writing style preferences (your "Voice" profile). You provide this information voluntarily to personalize the tools.
Content you provide. This includes listing details, property addresses, client information you enter into our tools, photos you upload for listing description generation, and any drafts you generate or save.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. DoorScribe does not receive, store, or process your full credit card number — Stripe handles that directly. We do receive limited billing metadata, such as your subscription status and plan tier.
Property data. When you use our address lookup feature, we query third-party public records data (via RentCast) using the address you provide. We do not control or independently verify the accuracy of this third-party data.
Usage and device information. On our free tool pages, we use cookies to track usage limits (for example, how many free drafts you've generated). We may also collect basic technical information such as browser type and general usage patterns to improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
When you generate a draft, the information you enter — including any listing photos you upload — is sent to Anthropic's API to produce the written output. Photos are used only to analyze and describe visual details of the property; they are not used to train Anthropic's underlying models on your data, consistent with Anthropic's own commercial API terms.
Drafts you choose to save are stored in our database associated with your account until you delete them or close your account.
We retain your account information and saved drafts for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or close your account, we retain your information for a limited period in case you wish to reactivate, after which it is deleted or anonymized, except where we're required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
You can access, update, or delete your Voice profile and saved drafts directly within your account settings. To request a full export or deletion of your account data, email us at support@doorscribe.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, such as the right to know what information we hold about you or to request its deletion.
DoorScribe is intended for licensed real estate professionals and business use. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18.
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections and access controls through our infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
DoorScribe is built for the U.S. real estate market and our infrastructure is primarily hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
