These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DoorScribe, available at doorscribe.com and through our web application (the "Service"), operated by DoorScribe ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
DoorScribe provides AI-powered writing tools designed for real estate agents, including tools for generating MLS listing descriptions, client emails, offer cover letters, follow-up sequences, price reduction announcements, and social media captions.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use DoorScribe. The Service is designed for real estate professionals and related business use; it is not intended for personal or consumer use outside that context.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@doorscribe.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you'll retain access through the end of your current billing period, after which your account moves to the free plan. We don't provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change our pricing. If we do, we'll provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect for existing subscribers.
We offer a limited number of free drafts on our main application and limited free uses of individual tools on our public tool pages, tracked by cookie. We may modify or discontinue free usage limits at any time.
You agree not to use DoorScribe to:
DoorScribe uses artificial intelligence to generate written drafts based on the information you provide, including any photos you upload. These drafts are starting points, not finished, verified copy. AI-generated content may contain factual inaccuracies, including in details inferred from photos.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, editing, and approving any content before you publish, send, or otherwise use it — including verifying accuracy, compliance with MLS rules, and compliance with fair housing and advertising laws in your jurisdiction. DoorScribe does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal compliance of any generated content.
You retain ownership of the information you input and the drafts you generate using the Service. We retain all rights to the DoorScribe platform, software, brand, and underlying technology. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service itself.
DoorScribe relies on third-party services to operate, including Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), RentCast (property data), and Google or Meta (if you choose social sign-in). Your use of these integrations is also subject to those providers' own terms and policies.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice, particularly in cases of abuse, fraud, or illegal use.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoorScribe and its founders will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service — including damages resulting from inaccurate, non-compliant, or otherwise problematic AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold DoorScribe harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you generate, publish, or distribute using the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
